Priorities set for police for three months

POLICE and residents in Eastwood decided on what areas of crime most needed focusing on at a recent meeting.

The Northern Cluster Priority Setting Meeting took place at Eastwood Police Station where members of the community, councillors and police came together to discuss what the police should be prioritising over the next three months.

The outcome was anti-social behaviour – particularly in Awsworth and Brinsley, speeding – namely in Brinsley, Giltbrook and Newthorpe, and burglary across the whole area.

The Northern Cluster Neighbourhood Policing Team cover Brinsley, Eastwood North, Awsworth, Cossall, Newthorpe and Giltbrook.
