It may not be quite CITV, but a Mansfield pub is bringing back a popular children’s television show 16 years after it was last broadcast.

The Widecombe Fair Fayre & Square on Oak Tree Lane is looking for families to represent the pub in the contest - which will be hosted by TV favourite Pat Sharp and the twins, Melanie and Martina, for a one-off resurection.

General manager Victoria Bennett said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing back Fun House. It’s about time mums and dads had some fun too, and so we’re not only offering a heap of nostalgia for the parents, but also a chance for them to take part and get messy.”

The four lucky teams, one parent and one child from each family, will have the opportunity to win a family holiday worth £1,000 by taking part in the games, which include the gunge tank quiz and the go karts race.

Parents can nominate themselves and a child atwww.fayre-square.com - but must be available to attend the event on Saturday 13th June in Lichfield.
