CHILDREN at Gilthill Primary School learnt all about music through dance and art.
Pupils at the school in Giltbrook took part in various activities and workshops over a two week period.
They looked at urban art and dance, the music of Elton John and David Bowie, African dances and some children made carnival masks and shakers to dance to calypso rhythms.
The project included performances by the Trinity School Saxophone Quartet, the pupils themselves and a concert at the end of the two weeks by the musical duo, ‘Travelling By Tuba’.
The kids made various pieces of fancy dress, including hats and Elton John 1970s glasses, and made various pieces of artwork that tied in with the musical themes.
