A CAFÉ for teenagers with learning difficulties has opened up in Kimberley.
It was the official opening of Rumbletums in Newdigate Street last Saturday, July 2.
The Mayor of Broxtowe Jacky Williams went to the event, along with Kimberley Town Council chairman Roy Plumb, and Kimberley councillor Richard Robinson.
The café will give college leavers with learning disabilities a place to work and offer them training opportunities in everything associated with running a coffee shop – hospitality, customer service, handling money and ordering stock.
The business was the brainchild of three parents who have children with learning problems – Jeff Buck, Dawn Pillar and Shirley Mowberry.
