Seat has released all the details of its revised Exeo saloon and ST estate ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, including more efficient engines, tweaked styling and a look forward to a more eco-friendly model with less than 120g/km of CO2.

Alterations to the front include newly designed bi-xenon headlights, new alloy wheel designs and, on the Sport model, LED daytime running lights. The latter is an option on the cheaper SE models.

Inside the car, the leather on the steering wheel has been changed to feel more upmarket.

Seat is currently working on a low-CO2 Exeo that will dip below 120g/km of CO2 and fall into the £35 road tax bracket, but in the mean time, the cleanest new version of the car’s 2.0-litre TDI common rail diesel offers CO2 emissions of 129g/km.

The revised Exeo will arrive in dealerships soon after the Frankfurt show.
