STYLISTS at a hair salon in Nuthall have raised £200 for Breast Cancer Research after inviting customers to guess the theme of their fancy dress.
Staff at the salon had a 70-square grid, each containing a suggested fancy dress theme and customers paid to uncover a square.
Peggy Kerry won with her entry, Greek godesses.
The hairdressers have done the same fundraising initiative every year at the Horsendale Avenue salon since 1997.
Salon manager Jane Brown said: “It’s a bit of fun and a good way of raising money for good causes.
“Since 1997 we have raised a few thousand pounds and have helped various charities. I want to thanks everyone for their support.”
