KIMBERLEY Primary and Nursery School held a summer fair and raised £1,000.
The money raised from the annual fair will go towards improving the planting areas and putting markings on the playground for the nursery children to ride their cars and scooters on.
There was a bouncy castle, go carts, a pet corner, tombola, crafts and stalls selling everything from plants and bric-a-brac to cards and cakes.
The event was organised by the Friends of Kimberley Primary School.
Group treasurer Helen Goddard said: “We’re really pleased with how much we raised.
“The day was a mixed bag really. Everything had to be taken inside because of the rain and often that would put people off, but people stuck around. We went back outside when it stopped raining.”
