The annual Brinsley Headstocks festival at the weekend saw crowds bathed in glorious sunshine as they were entertained by Newmount Brass Band and the Community Choir.
Activities showcasing the mining history of the site, mining memorabilia and craft stalls added an educational element to the day which was enjoyed by all.
Our photos below show members of the Community Choir who sang a set of popular songs including Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, ‘Wonderwall’ by Oasis and recent chart topper ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams.
