THESE pups are just two of a whole bundle of puppies who have flooded into the RSPCA Centre, on Abbey Street, Derby in recent weeks.

Centre staff say there are now nine young pups in their care who are all in need of a good home

The two terriers featured are only nine weeks old.

And the Patterdale, Wheaton Terrier crossbreeds have taken the names of a legendary soap twosome.

Phil and Grant here, named after the tough brothers from BBC One’s Eastenders, are far more loveable than their soap star namesakes, say staff at the centre. A TV theme runs among all the new pups as two female youngsters from the same litter are called Roxy and Ronnie, also of Albert Square fame.

If you can take any of these friendly youngsters home call the centre on 01332 344620.
