Tea party will help Marie Curie cause

A garden party is being held in Giltbrook this weekend to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Carol Marks-Smith, who lives at 397 Nottingham Road, is hosting the party after the charity was a huge help to both her and her colleague.

Open to anybody between 10am and 3pm tomorrow, July 20, there will be 25 craft stalls, homemade cakes, cards, spa treatments, a tombola, raffle and refreshments.

Marie Curie raises money for nurses to look after terminally ill people in their own homes.

All the money raised will be spent locally in Nottinghamshire.
