TODDLERs at a nursery in Kimberley made a bird table in the shape of a scarecrow for National Feed the Birds Week.
The kids made feeders out of pine cones and plastic bottles and lard balls with seeds for the food.
The bird table is the latest addition to the nursery’s outdoor animal area.
They also have a mini-beast garden, which is a wooded area where the kids can learn about bugs, a chicken coup and several ducks.
Manager Rachel Hornby said: “The setting encourages children to explore their natural outdoor environment.”
