A pharmaceutical van full of medication was stolen in Jacksdale and was involved in three robberies later that day.
The van was stolen from outside Jacksdale’s Acorn Pharmacy last Friday morning and recovered early evening after it was involved in a crash with two police cars.
The van had been used in robberies in Sutton-in Ashfield, but the drugs were no longer inside when it was found.
John Ward, 30, was charged with dangerous driving and driving with no licence or insurance following the crash and a 30-year-old has been arrested and bailed in connection with the theft of the van and the robberies.
Police have warnied the drugs could be life threatening.
