Vintage afternoon tea served at cafe

Tea will be served the old fashioned way in Eastwood this weekend, with vintage china cups and homemade cakes.

Local charity Communities Against Poverty will be serving afternoon tea at Eats and Treats between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday.

All money raised will go towards the Brinsley Headstocks

Booking is not necessary and the cafe’s garden will be opened up for customers.

Di Shorter, the group’s treasurer, said: “We are really grateful to Elaine at Eats and Treats for working with us on this event.”

The headstocks festival is on September 8. For a stall call 01773 775064.
