Work has begun on a new development in Eastwood which will see unused land transformed into 22 new homes.

Named after DH Lawrence’s novel ‘The White Peacock’ which was set in Eastwood, Peacock Gardens, on Peacock Drive, will feature semi-detached and detached three and four-bedroom homes in a cul-de-sac.

As work by Rippon Homes is now underway on the first homes, buyers are being encouraged to register their details now to be among the first to find out more about the new homes once they are released for sale.

Ian Dyke, Managing Director at Rippon Homes, said: “Peacock Gardens is sure to prove popular with families due to its close proximity to the local primary school and it is also conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre.”
