Madam,
I have just read in the Eastwood and Kimberley Advertiser about the new police station to be built at Eastwood.
l am disappointed to see it is once again to be situated in Eastwood.
l understood it was going to be built at Giltbrook, halfway between Eastwood and Kimberley.

Will the public be able to see a police officer?

Every time l have been to Eastwood police station l have had to speak on an intercom even though l have seen police inside.

No good to me as l am deaf.

l also noted PC Paul Toon says crime figures are low in Kimberley.
l suggest he takes a walk down Stagg Jitty on a Friday night.
There are smashed windows and fences.

The reason crime figures are low is the public don't report them as it's a waste of time.

The patch walks are no good, the pensioners won't go out at night.
They know if they are not in their house they are open to a break-in.
And the patch walks are advertised.

Can we have the new council tax offices in Kimberley?

l have to pay nearly as much bus fare to Eastwood as it is to Nottingham.
