Badgers’ winding up order withdrawn in High Court

Eastwood Town FC’s future looks a little more certain after a winding up order from HM Revenue and Customs was withdrawn at the High Court on Monday.

The case had originally been adjourned in November to give the club more time to fight an order which revolved around alleged unpaid tax but which it emerged was for staff not employed by Eastwood Town in the given time frame.

Badgers owner Steve Lynch told the Advertiser on Monday that the case has now been thrown out and the order withdrawn.
