Eastwood CFC are still searching for their first league win of the season after being narrowly beaten by Linby Colliery at Coronation Park on Saturday.

Joe Butler scored the only goal of the game for Linby to move them up to fourth in the CML South, Eastwood still bottom and six points adrift of the rest of the table.

Eastwood are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Blidworth Welfare, kick-off 3pm.

In the CML Reserve Premier Division, Eastwood CFC Reserves earned a 3-3 draw at Sherwood Colliery Reserves to seal their first ever point.

Robbie Mawer struck twice for Eastwood with their other goal coming from Craig Taylor.

They will host Holbrook St Michaels Reserves at Coronation Park this weekend with a 3pm kick-off.
