Aussie visitors for Priory Celtic

Priory Celtic will field a team from their Under 16s and Under 18s on Thursday, November 29, when they entertain Whitsunday Miners FC at Basford United FC.

Whitsunday Miners are based in Queensland, Australia, and are playing Priory Celtic as part of their UK tour.

The team is coached by Michael Leslie, an ex-pat who emigrated from Nottingham.

Michael is the son of well-known and respected local referee Mick Leslie.

Priory have a strong tradition of hosting teams from Down Under and look forward to welcoming their players, coaching staff and officials.

The match kicks off at 730pm, entry is free of charge and all are welcome.
