JOHN Ramshaw has been announced as the new manager of Eastwood Town.

It will be Ramshaw’s third spell at Coronation Park, having previously been assistant manager to both Bryan Chambers and Paul Cox during their tenures at the club.

He was sacked from his role under Cox in March last year and has most recently been boss at Evo-Stik Division One South side Shepshed Dynamo.

Ramshaw has vast managerial experience in non-league football, listing Oakham United, Sutton Town, Hucknall Town, Leek Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Lincoln United among his former employers.

Richard Cooper, who succeeded Ramshaw as Cox’s assistant for the 2010/11 season, also returns to the club in a similar role.
