Good swims from KSC

Kimberley Swimming Club competed in the final of the Notts ASA Stage Three Gala against tough competition last weekend.

Facing Leander’s A & B teams, Calverton & Bingham SC, Sherwood SC and Mansfield SC, Kimberley finished in fifth place which was a good performance given the standard of opposition.

Sunday saw a small group of Kimberley swimmers compete in a number of events at the Retford Open Meet at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

Among the race winners were Ted Goonan-Dunne, Gemma Calder, Jade Calder and three victories for Ben Barsby.

Top six finishes went to Ted Goonan-Dunne (3), Eleanor Aboutorab, Aiden Williamson (4), Charly Pink, Jade Duffy (3), Callum Williamson (4), Gemma Calder (4), Jade Calder (4) and Annaleise Howell.
