Aldercar and Langley Mill Boxing Club is to stage a show at Shipley Working Men’s Club on Friday, January 31.
The event was rescheduled from November and will feature five of the club’s fighters in action.
There will be a total of 12 bouts on the bill.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the boxing is due to start between 8pm and 8.30pm.
The Aldercar and Langley Mill Boxing Club fighters on the bill are Cole Arnold, in his first contest, Ethan Morledge, aiming for his first win, James Defesta in his first bout, Josh Knighton in his second bout, with one win already under his belt, and club captain James Hutsby.
Head coach and club matchmaker David Goulding said: “It’s our first show on a Friday there for a long time so we are hoping for a good turnout.
“Other local clubs are supporting the show and bringing boxers along, and there are also some from further afield.
“There will be a good variety of skill levels and experience on show and it should be a good night for everyone, so we’re hoping for good-sized crowd.
“After that, we are hoping to sort out a joint show in April involving some of the other Amber Valley clubs so that should be something to look forward to, all being well.”
Tickets are £10 for adults or £5 for under 16s. They are available from David Goulding on 07814 901806.
