Eastwood boxer Calum Reeve is back in the ring next month on the undercard of Lee Froch’s comeback fight.
The 22 year-old has his third fight in Nottingham on Sunday, November 15.
The top-of-the-bill fight at Oceana nightclub features heavyweight Lee Froch, the elder brother of ex-world champion Carl.
Lee is back in the ring after a break of around 20 years - and Carl will be there to cheer him on.
He will also see Reeve look to chalk up a second win in three fights.
Earlier this year, Reeve lost his ring debut and last month, he walloped Jack Ferguson inside a couple of rounds in Derby.
Both fights were crowd-pleasing punch ups, but according to his trainer, Reeve is ready to show he can box as well.
Reeve trains with Ian Buttle at the Fit 2 Fight gym in Ilkeston and he said: “Calum has proved that if they want to go toe to toe, he can have a fight.
“He also showed in his last fight that he has the power as well.
“I’m sure this will be exciting as well, but Calum is prepared to box this time.
“He doesn’t want to have a war every time he gets in the ring and I’m hoping we will see him box in his next fight.”
Tickets for the show in Nottingham are available from 07542-590992.
