Nuthall progress after tight encounter

In the first knockout match of the season, Nuthall BC faced Grange Street of Alfreton in an encounter that ended in darkness at Basil Russell Playing Fields.

The game went down to the last end with Nuthall securing victory by three shots.

In a very tense match Nuthall lost on three rinks but there was an oustanding performance by county player on R1, K Broadley P Jordan winning 34-10 which made all the difference.

On R2, S Mackenzie and A Broadley lost 14-16. while B Watson and D Heard lost 9-20 on R3.

On R4, G Lillycrap and M Lillycrap lost 8-16.

Nuthall now progress to round two and a home match against Welbeck BC.
