Therefore, the hint should surely be taken that Alan King has chosen the meeting to give a UK debut to a promising young hurdler, owned by Million In Mind, in one of the support races on the card. The four-year-old has been recruited, by renowned bloodstock agent Anthony Bromley, from France, where he finished a fine second on his sole start. It represents respectable form that most of his rivals today struggle to match. The one exception is God Of The Kop, who could go off a short-priced favourite but is worth opposing because he is unlikely to be suited by a drastic drop in trip from 3m to a sharp 2m.
