Surreal Panther

Surreal Panther

Surreal Panther, the Ripley-based tribute band to LA glam rockers Steel Panther, are playing a one-off show on Sunday, November 4, at the Diamond Club in Sutton-inAshfield

Support on the night comes from Leicester’s Iron Python and Nottingham’s Notley Crue.

Admission prices are £6 on the door or £5 for advance tickets.

For tickets, please call the Diamond on 01623 456617.

The band have deliberately planned this show for this particular date, knowing that Steel Panther arrive to play what is now a soldout show the day after at Rock City in Nottingham, having played in Cologne on November 3.

Sources close to Steel Panther have confirmed the band’s awareness of this show and Satchel, the lead guitarist, has said: “We would love to come to this show, and if the schedule permits, we will check Surreal Panther out.”

This isn’t the first time Surreal Panther have had response from the American band, and they have featured on an album promo video, being complimented by Michael Starr, Steel Panther’s lead singer and Glen Parrish, the former manager.

Music lovers of the 80s rock scene will love this Surreal Panther show, featuring the influences of Motley Crue, Skid Row, Kiss, Van Halen and other such big hair and spandex-type bands.
