Jenny Oldknow, an artist living and working in Belper, is to exhibit a wide selection of her watercolour paintings at Leabrooks Gallery in Somercotes during June.

This is to be her first solo exhibition at the gallery, and will include many of her latest vibrant and lively interpretations of the animal kingdom, from household pets to the more exotic species, as well as floral subjects and landscape-inspired abstracts.

Jenny’s reputation as a professional artist is rapidly growing, exhibiting her work in London, and internationally, so this is an ideal chance to see a wide selection of her work in a local gallery.

As well as original paintings, there are a wide selection of Jenny’s limited edition fine-art prints and popular greeting cards available, and information about her painting workshops. The exhibition runs from June 9-29, and the gallery is open Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm (Wednesday by appointment only), and Sundays 11am-4.30pm.
