Selston woman’s runner-up spot in craft contest

A SELSTON woman’s creative talents have been rewarded with the runner-up position in a craft competition run by the world’s leading dolls’ house supplier.

Janet Bridge was commended by judges in the Dolls House Emporium’s latest creative competition for the homemade wedding invitations and guestbook she made for her son’s wedding using their products.

She used black floral dolls’ house wallpaper embellished with little white tulips and a horseshoe. After fruitless searches in countless craft shops, Janet and her future daughter-in-law finally found what they wanted in the Dolls House Emporium’s shop in Ripley.
