A concert with a difference

Nottingham Symphonic Winds will present A Fairytale Christmas at the Albert Hall on December 17, as part of a concert with a difference.

This year, the concert, conducted and compered by Alistair Parnell, will include a special performance featuring the elite gymnasts from Notts Gymnastics Academy.

The Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra (NSWO) is one of the leading groups of its kind, renowned for its exciting and diverse concert performances.

Each Christmas, the hugely popular ‘Kidsophonic’ concerts introduce local children to the magic of the wind orchestra. This year the concert will feature gymnasts from the Nottingham Gymnastics Academy, who will perform a floor-based display. NSWO have chosen to support the Academy this year to help them raise funds towards competing in an International Competition in America.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £5 for children (under twos get in free).
