Fab Four fans should check out The Magic Of The Beatles when the tribute show comes to the Winding Wheel in Chesterfield on Friday, March 14, from 7.30pm.

The critically-acclaimed stage show has embarked on a nationwide tour celebrating the golden anniversary of the Beatles film, album and hit single – all of the same name – that propelled John, Paul, George and Ringo to worldwide stardom.

A Hard Day’s Night, the film, captured The Beatles at the peak of Beatlemania while the album and single established the Fab Four as the greatest group the world has ever seen.

Show producer Michael Taylor says The Magic of the Beatles recreates the group’s legendary live performances, and more. Taking you from their Mop Top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond, from Love Me Do to Let It Be.

“Fantastic costumes, brilliant vocals and incredible musicianship come together in a lavish magical musical trip back to yesterday.”

The Beatles’ film A Hard Day’s Night broke box office records, and is credited for introducing the concept of today’s pop music video.

The Magic of the Beatles is a two-hour spectacular featuring superb costumes and a cast of skilled musicians and singers.

Michael Taylor added: “It authentically recreates the live concert shows of John, Paul, George and Ringo that generated fan hysteria never seen before or since.”

The Winding Wheel is based on Holywell Street. Tickets are £18 with concessions at £17. Call the box office on 01246 345334.
