Music fans are in for an entertaining weekend when the Rock and Blues Old School Weekender returns to Pentrich from July 25-27.
The three-day festival is once again offering a huge roster of bands and entertainment, not to mention the popular custom show, all appearing at the event’s regular location, the Coney Grey Showground, Chesterfield Road, Pentrich.
The event kicks off on Thursday, July 25, with appearances lined up from chart-toppers Dr And The Medics, plus the likes of Shackled and Suicide Tuesdays.
On Friday, July 26, there is a bumper of bands, featuring Quire Boys, Hot Red Chilli Peppers, Aka Skaface, Ozzbest, New Generation Superstars, Mad Bones, Dirtbox Disco, Airstrike, Nowhere City Riot, Shooters Dirty Blues, Hot Money, Howlin Mat, Eva Plays Dead, Harriett, Alex Dewey, Lauren Faith, Anthony Eden Gosher and others.
The Rock and Blues Old School Weekender concludes, on Saturday, July 27, with performances across various stages by Ed Tudor Pole, Chris Slade’s Time Line, Trucker Diablo, Ska Toons, Gunz V Roses, Fake Snake, Kamakaze Hotshots, The Enemy, Black Star Bullet, Mile Wide Stride and Bleeding Hearts.
You can also see BB BlackDog (pictured), Paul Evans, The Parents, Nick Aslam, Chris Butler, Steve Cooper and Andy Web.
As ever, the event will also have its own custom show, with all types of motorbikes, hot rod and classic cars, trikes and scooters, all with great prizes and trophies. The event also has a fully licensed bar and many food vendors, sideshows, attractions and trade stands, to keep visitors to the site more than happy during the course of the weekend. Camping is also available.
