The critically acclaimed Tideswell Male Voice Choir and the Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mills Band once again bring their unique brand of musical entertainment to The Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, on Sunday, May 27, starting at 7pm.
The evening is designed to stimulate the Golden Jubilee celebrations with a mix of rousing traditional songs and music with favourites such as Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
The choir’s programme will also feature a number of universally memorable popular songs including Bohemian Rhapsody, What A Wonderful World and Yesterday.
Based in Matlock, Sir Richard Arkwright’s Masson Mills Band concentrates on the organisation of and participation in high profile charity concerts for local and regional charities.
Under the expert control of musical director Russell Gray, this prestigious band delights audiences at major venues with its varied musical programmes. The band has toured in the USA and Europe and recorded several CDs.
