Dance the night away with DCO

DERBY Concert Orchestra will be performing at Derby Cathedral on December 10 in a concert entitled Let’s Face The Music and Dance.

This Christmas family concert, featuring mainly dance music, is to be conducted by Jonathan Trout and includes works such as extracts from Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker, Mussorgsky’s Night On The Bare Mountain, selections from Prokofiev’s Romeo And Juliet, Irving Berlin’s Let’s Face The Music And Dance, Devil’s Galop (the theme tune to vintage radio show Dick Barton: Special Agent) plus waltzes and festive favourites.

The concert starts at 7pm. Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions). Under 16s get in free when accompanied by an adult.

The tickets are available from Foulds Music in Derby, from orchestra members and on the door.
