NOTTINGHAM Symphony Orchestra will be performing an all-Dvorak concert at Nottingham’s Albert Hall on Saturday, March 10.
The concert features three pieces by the much-loved Czech composer, two of which are among his most popular and famous works.
Conducted by Derek Williams, the concert will begin with the delightful Scherzo Cappricioso and will be followed by his Cello Concerto, one of the masterpieces for cello and orchestra and featuring the acclaimed Guy Johnston as the soloist.
The second half will be given over to one of the most performed of all symphonies, Dvorak’s Ninth Symphony, ‘From The New World’.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are back stalls, £12; all other seats £10 (concessions [under 21] £6).
