A LIVE and Local concert is coming to Cotmanhay on Saturday, November 12.

Lament will perform their Latin Fiesta Rhythmic Explosion at Cotmanhay And Shipley Church Hall, Vicarage Street, Cotmanhay, from 7.30pm.

This five-piece professional band perform their own unique style of Latin American music. Blending gypsy, latin and flamenco grooves with Arabic, Cuban, salsa and Brazilian bossa nova flavours. They appeal to all ages. Fronted by Kath Kimber, Lament have bags of energy, and offer up performances of incredible improvisation and freestyling. They have spent the last year tirelessly touring to sellout venues and festivals to nail their sound and promote their albums.

This is a unique opportunity for people to enjoy a great night out, at a fraction of theatre prices, and contribute towards benefiting local children at the same time. All profits from the evening will go towards a concert for Cotmanhay Infant School. As with all Live and Local events, the audience has a rare opportunity to enjoy this professional performance in an informal setting.
