Head back in time with Cromford talk

A talk entitled Cromford Before The Arrival Of Arkwright is to be given on Wednesday, January 13, from 2pm-2.40pm in the Exhibition Room at Cromford Mills.

Cromford and the surrounding hamlets were irrevocably changed during the 1770s by the arrival of Arkwright and cotton spinning.

Cliff Lea’s talk will reveal some of the fascinating activities and occupations that went on and the very different way of life before Arkwright arrived.

The cost is £2.50.
