NOTTINGHAMSHIRE-BASED singer Lucy Hall has stepped in as a very late replacement for Nottingham Harmonic Society’s performance of Handel’s Messiah on Saturday, December 3.
The concert takes place at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall from 7pm and Lucy, who was a member of the award-winning Mansfield-based Cantamus, is stepping in for Ruby Hughes, who is indisposed.
She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with a First Class Honours Degree and the Dove Memorial Prize for the highest marked GSMD graduate across all disciplines in 2010 and the Ann Wyburd Prize for the most outstanding lieder performance in final recitals. Currently, she is a scholar on the Guildhall Artist’s Masters Programme studying with Susan McCulloch and has just completed a run in British Youth Opera’s production of The Marriage Of Figaro.
