Top singer-songwriter Plan B (aka Ben Drew) will play a major outdoor gig in spectacular surroundings at the 3,000-acre Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nottinghamshire, next summer.
The artist will follow in the footsteps of star-name musicians like Paul Weller, Jarvis Cocker, The Beautiful South and Erasure who have all played the stunning rustic venue.
Chris Bray, local concert organiser for the Forestry Commission, said: “We are committed to bringing new acts to play in Sherwood and reaching out to different audiences. We have had huge demand for concert tickets over recent years and we are confident Plan B will be another top seller.”
Capacity for the gig on Saturday, June 16, will be set at 5,000 people. Tickets cost £32 (subject to booking fee) and are now on sale from the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400.
