Strauss in spotlight of new show

The delightful musical sounds of the Strauss family of Vienna will take centre stage in a concert to be performed in Nottingham at the start of next year.

Raymond Gubbay presents a Johann Strauss Gala - A Viennese Party, performed at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on Saturday, January 4.

Back with a new show for 2014, Johann Strauss Gala - A Viennese Party stars irrepressible showman and conductor Rainer Hersch, who will take you on a light-hearted journey through a fizzing assortment of music and dance.

You will hear classic works such as The Blue Danube Waltz, Radetzky March, Emperor Waltz, Lucifer Polka, Perpetuum Mobile, plus many more of your favourite waltzes and polkas from the Strauss family and friends.

The show starts at 3pm and tickets are available at £22-£28.50. Call the box office on 0115 9895555.
