Other comedians during the new season include Stewart Lee’s Carpet Remnant World (Tuesday, March 6), Pam Ayres (April 1), Paul Merton (May 7), Jon Richardson (May 13) and Rich Hall (May 27).

Drama will include the decadent world of 18th century society being brought to life in an adaptation of Sense And Sensibility on January 31, and one of Shakespeare’s most popular plays, Macbeth, which will take place on February 8 and 9. The venue’s flagship drama production during the new season will be Yes Prime Minister, fresh from a sell-out West End tour, from March 13-17.

Children and family shows include the spectacular Moscow State Circus (January 20-22) incorporating acrobats, clowns and lots of fun. The enchanting classic children’s show, The Secret Garden will take place on Sunday, February 5. Other family and kids events include Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music (April 1), The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Saturday, April 14) and The Tiger Who Came To Tea (April 21-22).
