The Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton is to be the venue on Saturday, February 1, at 7.30 pm, for a concert by the Radcliffe on Trent Male Voice Choir and the Eastwood-based Greasley Singers.

Each choir has been established for more than 30 years and is closely involved in supporting numerous charities and good causes in the Nottingham area.

With a repertoire reaching beyond popular classical and religious pieces, into The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis, as well as scores from famous musicals, there will be plenty to appeal to a wide variety of age groups and tastes.

Spread the word and come along and you will be in for a real vocal treat at the concert.

Tickets are £6 by contacting Joy Thurman on 0115 973 3326 and Barry Riley on 0115 849 2722. Alternatively, they can be obtained from the theatre on Saturdays, between 10am and midday.

The Greasley Singers are a long established mixed voice choir, performing a host of musical delights.

As for the Radcliffe On Trent Male Voice Choir, rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings at Radcliffe on Trent Methodist Church, to which anyone interested in joining is welcome to attend. See www.radcliffeontrentmalevoicechoir.org for more.
