KIMBERLEY drama group NOWMADS have received some financial support from a Nuthall councillor.

Philip Owen donated £500 to the Nottingham West Music and Drama Society.

He presented the cast with a cheque after dropping in to Kettlebrook Lodge where they are rehearsing for their next production, Guys and Dolls.

The money will help pay for costume hire and equipment for the new show, being performed at The Kimberley School at the end of the month.

Cast member Gillian Williams said: “The generosity and support of Cllr Owen is greatly appreciated and has given us a big boost ahead of what we hope will be another successful production.”

To book tickets for the show, starting on October 25, and for more details, call Rosemary on 0115 977 0995 or Kathy on 0115 927 6189.
