Gags galore at Glee Club in May

Glee Club Nottingham has a bumper line-up of comic talent appearing there during May.

Zoe Lyons, Rob Deering and Tim Clark are the latest to put in appearance on May 9-10.

Razor-sharp stand-up Rob Deering and his guitar, have been seen on Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks as well as comedy clubs all over the UK.

Zoe Lyons is familiar from her appearances on hit TV show Mock The Week while Tim Clark is a Comedy Store legend.

On May 16-17, the guest performers are to be Susan Murray, John Fothergill, Silky and Mike Wilmot.

Canadian stand-up Mike Wilmot is something of a loved legend in the UK, performing on the comedy circuit over here since 1998, and at the Edinburgh Festival - to great critical acclaim.

Mike’s effortlessly funny style is a fast-paced, hard-hitting comedic look at everyday life.

May 23-24 are the dates for a visit to the venue by Craig Hill, Simon Clayton, Phil Ellis, Mick Ferry (Friday) and Ben Norris (Saturday).

Craig Hill is arguably Scotland’s brightest comedy star.

Cheeky, irreverent and, of course, wonderfully camp, his hilarious blend of incisive stand-up, fabulous musical characterisations and improvisation has earned him rave reviews.

Finally, on May 30-31, there’s Matt Rees, Angela Barnes, Carey Marx and Simon Bligh.
