Steve Hewlett and Friends can be seen in a show at Derby Theatre Studio called Thinking Inside the Box.

The performance is on Sunday, June 22, at 7.30pm, and has been moved from the Darwin Suite at the Assemnly Rooms.

Steve Hewlett, fresh from his memorable appearance on Britain’s Got Talent in 2013, has embarked on a major theatre tour with his hilarious friends and will visit Derby as part of the Derby Comedy Festival.

From talking hands, to bottles of water, from Arthur Lager to Little ‘Simon Cowell’, Steve and his creations won the hearts of the nation and wowed the judges in the BGT final.

Now Steve and his cast of zany characters, along with international award winning illusionist Richard Griffin, take a brand new, spectacular show on the road to delight and amaze the whole family.

Also appearing as part of the Derby Comdy Festival will be Ben Norris, with his show Mr Ambiguousness.

It can be seen on Friday, June 13, from 8pm in the Festival Tent on Derby Market Place.

Ben is hitting the road in his own show after impressing as the support for Ed Byrne’s national tour.

Ben’s TV credits include Mock The Week (BBC2), They Think It’s All Over (BBC1), and Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2).

Other interesting facts about Ben include the fact that he’s the cousin of actor and hobbit, Martin Freeman, and the father of triplets, two girls and a boy.

Also in the Festival Tent, you can see an appearance there on Sunday, June 15, by veteran comic Norman Lovett.

His show is called Old And New and starts at 8pm.

The stand-up legend and Red Dwarf star Norman Lovettreturns to Derby with a show which contains the continuation of The Sugababes debate, amongst many more subjects.

The show will feature his iPad attached to the microphone stand from which he will depict images onto a screen to delight and astound you.

The title of the show is exactly that, a title.
