Medieval storytelling at Cromford Mills

Tantalising images of bawdy humour and gruesome monsters to elegant romance and mystical magic are conjured up by acclaimed traditional storyteller Sophie Snell, as she brings a delicious concoction of medieval tales to Cromford Mills on Friday, April 25, from 7.30pm.

Chaucer, Beowulf, the Welsh Mabinogion and the many tales of King Arthur and medieval Britain conjure up innocence, curiosity and earthly pleasure deftly interwoven with songs and ballads reflective of the time.
