Moving play offers up laughs and tears

THE Reform Theatre Company will be performing Studs, by Gordon Steel, at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre on Tuesday, April 19, from 7.30pm.

Mandy is hard-faced and man-mad. She is always on a diet and loves a laugh. Tommo is an easygoing bloke who doesn’t like a fuss and does whatever Mandy says.

Mac is as hard as nails, likes football, booze and women. The gorgeous Kylie, Mac’s girlfriend, just likes everybody.

These football-mad lads and their wannabe WAGs arrange separate weekends away but when the couples reunite, hilarious and gut-wrenching discoveries ensue that will stay with them forever.

This is a funny and moving play which will pull the heartstrings and seduce the funny bone.

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions) and are available from the box office on 01332 255800.
