The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre will be performing in the large clubrooms at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre this weekend, as part of Derby Comedy Festival.

There are to be two performances. The first, from 6.30pm on Friday, June 20, is suitable for those aged 12-plus.

The second, from 1pm on Sunday, June 22, is for family audiences aged three and over.

The performances have been moved from the Darwin Suite at the Assembly Rooms due to the fire in March at the venue’s car park.

The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre are stars of stage, screen and Youtube. They will bring audiences a new show of songs, sketches, socks and violence on topics far and wide.

After five sell-out years at the Edinburgh Fringe and international tours that have taken them from Aberdeen to Adelaide, from Aberystwyth to Aarhus (in Denmark), and all points in between, the Socks bring Derby audiences their new show, including the best of their favourite stuff, as part of Derby Comedy Festival.

There are two shows to choose from. Tickets are priced at £7.50 and can be purchased through the Derby LIVE box office on 01332 255800 or online at www.derbylive.co.uk and www.derbycomedyfestival.co.uk
