The Canadians are coming!

Comedians Stewart Francis, Craig Campbell and Glenn Wool - aka The Lumberjacks - are bringing their UK tour to the Darwin Suite at Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Tuesday, April 23, followed by a performance at Nottingham Playhouse on April 28.

The show gives you the chance to enjoy three top Canadian comedians for the price of one.

Following a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Festival, Stewart Francis, Craig Campbell and Glenn Wool are hitting the road to each perform their own set, side by side, on their debut UK tour of The Lumberjacks.

These Canadian comedians are at the top of their comedy game right now. Each with their refreshingly contrasting styles, you can see them come together and perform their own uniquely individual material.

With something here for everyone guaranteed, the audience is in for an eclectic and exciting show.

Outstanding in his chosen field of killer one-liners, Stewart Francis moved to the UK three years ago.

Since that time he has rapidly established himself as one of the best comics working here right now.

He very soon became a star of BBC’s Mock The Week, and is always one of the standout performers whenever he appears alongside the likes of Dara O’Briain, Hugh Dennis and Andy Parsons on the popular topical comedy panel show.

He has also made memorable appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Live At The Apollo.

Stewart Francis has just finished his extensive, acclaimed UK tour Outstanding In His Field and released his second DVD, of the same name.

Craig Campbell is one of the most charismatic and inventive performers around.

He has made appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand and is becoming an increasingly familiar face to UK comedy audiences.

In the spring of 2011, Craig toured nationally with his show Craig Campbell Live, which was extended twice due to the ongoing level of popular demand.

He recently rejoined Frankie Boyle on his tour.

Glenn Wool has been described by one comedy writer as ‘effortlessly funny with an affability other comics can only dream of. “

Glenn is a comic truly at the top of his game right now.

As well as his global live work, Glenn Wool’s burgeoning list of television credits includes: The Green Room With Paul Provenza (Showtime), Jon Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show (Comedy Central) and Funny As Hell (HBO).
