Sparkling family musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat continues on its record-breaking tour, having sold an estimated 15 million tickets.
Bill Kenwright’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show is coming to Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel this April.
Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph and the coat of many colours, the UK’s longest running musical is full of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.
X Factor finalist Lloyd Daniels will play the title role. Having reached the final of the competition in 2009, Lloyd then went on to perform in sold-out arenas across the UK and release his first single Suburbian Girl.
Joining him is fellow X Factor star Marcus Collins in the role of the Narrator. Marcus came second in the competition and enjoyed immediate chart success with his self-titled debut album.
Matt Lapinskas, famed for playing Anthony Moon in BBC 1’s EastEnders and being a finalist in Dancing On Ice, plays the role of the Pharaoh.
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be staged at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield, from April 14-19. Tickets from £25.
