TV veteran at the Guildhall

Josephine Tewson brings her one-woman show Still Keeping Up Appearances? to Derby’s Guildhall Theatre on Sunday, April 21, at 7.30pm.

Audiences may remember Josephine best as Hyacinth Bucket’s long-suffering neighbour Elizabeth in Keeping Up Appearances.

Josephine has starred in literally scores of television comedies ranging from The Two Ronnies to Shelley, Dick Emery to Clarence and collaborations with Charlie Drake to a long-running part in Last Of The Summer Wine.

A RADA-trained actress, Josephine has also enjoyed a wonderful theatrical career from early repertory to Chichester and West End shows.

Now, in her entertaining and funny one woman show she talks about her early years in British theatre, the move into television comedy and her ill-fated, but nevertheless hilarious, marriage to Leonard Rossiter.

Tickets are priced at £16.25. Call 01332 255800.
