This is the second series of photos taken from a gigantic staff picture of the old Eastwood firm, Collaro.

Collaro was established during World War Two to make ammunition boxes.

About 2,000 people would work the day shift and 4,000 on the night shift. The photo, which we have split up into instalments, was submitted by Brian Fretwell, who lives in South Street, Eastwood.

It was taken in 1944 and belonged to his parents, who are pictured in the photograph.

After the war, the firm became Vic Hallam.
